Linux is NOT OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED by the THE WORD members

Post by core »

Hi all Linux users,

Linux is NOT OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED by Costas or any other who actively work for THE WORD.
That means: Even though Costas, Johannes or other people might respond to your questions,
this is not to be expected. Please be patient for somebody else to come along, to give you the
answer you needed.

In case you are a Linux-pro: Welcome! Have a look into the forum and see if you can give answers
to the unanswered questions.

Concerning Mac: THERE ARE NO PLANS for the future, to program a Mac-version of TW. Nevertheless,
with different tools such as BootCamp and other software, you can make your Windows apps (like TW) run
on a Mac. (That's why it won't hold me back to buy a Mac myself.) It's not worth the work programming
a Mac version.

Concerning Mobile (MDA) TW : THERE ARE NO PLANS for the close future. Due to a lack of time it's not on
a priority list. Mobile Bible software is very limited anyways. Mobile software is practical for reading the
Bible in the train. And for that purpose, there's enough good freeware out there. When you study your Bible,
you won't be doing it at noisy places in town, but at home, where your PC is too.
It is not excluded though, that when TW 3 (and TW 4) are out, that their might be a mobile version. But this
is really out of scope right now.

In Him,
Core
