Window behavior under WINE

I suspect it may be how wine is interacting with the window manager. Are you using kde or gnome? You may just want to wait until ubuntu 9.04 is released soon and try it then. KDE 4.2 is pretty nice.

I'm using gnome with compiz. Compiz doesn't seem to make any difference; TW behaves the same even when I turn off all the effects. It will be interesting to see what happens with kde 4.2; I did have some issues with ubuntu 8.04 and kde 4, that's why I switched to gnome. Ah, the joys of computing :roll:
