Way to save ALL theWord preferences?

I have just worked in theWord for the last day, and have already made so many tweaks that I've lost track. Is there a way to save ALL system preferences in a file, that can be backed up, so that if I ever have to load tW preferences, I can do it easily and quickly? I even backup my settings on my PDF reader, so you know I can be a bit finicky when it comes to things like this.... :D

Take a look at the personal files location shown on the Help->About -> file locations. I expect you backup these locations often as a matter of routine, I do.

Just to note: all preferences are stored in the file config.ini
All content of yours in the .twm files there
The manual explains in detail what each file is for

I'm trying to find a way to copy my preferences and layouts from one computer to another. Both computers have TheWord installed, but I want to have the same layout options available on both computers. Any way to do that? thanks

Your layouts are saved in the file my.lyts.twm.
You need to copy/sync this file,
