I have been using angelwriter as it seem to put out rtf that the word reads really well. Accept one thing, the word supports more rtf tags than angelwriter does. For instance doing a double underline instead of a single underline.
So is there a good rtf editor that supports all the features and puts out good code that the word can use/understand?
I have tried exporting from both wordperfect and openoffice and both of them put out rtf code that the word does not deal well with. Wordperfect does a better job than openoffice but it still uses allot of tags that the word does not like (styles fro instance).
Any ideas?
Good RTF editor.
what about Wordpad?

ActionTest is an editor that Costas showed me; available here:
http://www.trichview.com/download/demo.html
The readme.rvf file must be in the same folder as the program (i think). Also, everytime I save a rtf file it says "some features may be lost" but I've had no problems with it.

As Aaron pointed out, the one the editor here http://www.trichview.com/resources/acti ... ontest.zip is actually the one used by TW itself (the same editor). The only difference is that i haven't put all the buttons in it...
Maybe i will integrate all of it in TW (just buttons).
The native format of this editor is rvf (the one used by TW), but also supports rtf. There are some things that are not supported by rtf, this is why you get this message. The best way to use it is to copy/paste from this editor in TW. The operation uses rvf so nothing is lost.
I hope to fully integrate this editor in TW, maybe not for ver.3 final which i try to hurry.

(support RVF format as base, include embeded sound in .mp3 and animation in .swf in the body of RVF.
support formulas, spell checking (use Open Office dictionary)
http://rsoftware.net/files/editor/oconvpck.exe (use for *.doc support if MS Office not installed)
(Dead) developer topic on the russian IT forum http://forum.ru-board.com/topic.cgi?for ... &start=360
Costas, I think you need to learn from this developer
