New Testament Bible & Old Testament Bible

This may be hard to implement but it is an idea:
When one has a New Testament only Bible would it be possible to set an Old Testament Bible or set up pairs of Bibles that can work together.
I know this could affect a lot such as searching, etc. For example one could have NA27 New Testament and WHM Old Testament.
Note one could only pair OT and NT Bibles not ONT Bibles nor OT & OT nor NT & NT

This is over simplified but something like.

When a reference is entered

if it exist in this Bible
use this Bible
else if Pairing is turned on then
use the Old or New Testament Pair.
else done, pair not enabled.



Searching:
Would be like searching multiple Bibles but one could search just this pair.
Perhaps a set could be auto generated from this pair and selected for searching as a default.

Verse reference Pop-ups
If active (with pair enabled) Bible is selected then the pairing would be used else just the active Bible

I don't particularly like this idea to be honest. It would be doable of course, but it would mix things that are supposed to be separate,
