Superscript verse numbers in copied text

I see that Erikjon suggested this in 2012 and JG responded on 1/16/16. Several other bible programs offer this. If possible, I would like to see this made available in theWord. If it already is, how do I access it?

Hi John,
verse indices are not implemented as superscript because the viewer had problems displaying them properly (e.g. uniform sizes, etc).
As they are now, when copied, they do look nice but they are not really superscript.

As far as I remember (its been some time) there were some visual issues, related to the viewer, that made me decide to implement them like that. I don't think this would be an easy change, and obviously it would bring back the problems I avoided in the first place,
