There's also a suggestion that Microsoft could build support for 32bit apps as a module for the new version of windows. A quote from the third article "There is also a widespread belief among the Internet community that Windows Core OS will support Win32 apps as well."
I think it would be good to look at the options for theWord if 32 bit support is dropped. Can it simply be compiled for 64 bit or is it more complicated?
My interest in this is as a daily user of theWord with many premium modules. Currently I cannot find another Bible software package that can match the flexibility of theWord and I'm keen to ensure I can continue to run it for the forseeable future.
