no, it doesn't work like that.
Official versions are manually handled so as to avoid too much traffic on the server.
Even when official versions are released, theWord might not automatically report that there is a newer version unless the user interactively checks for one

I currently run .1342, and when I "check for newer version", TW tells me I'm running the current version. When will .1343 become the newest version publicly available?
