Hi Costas, not sure if I have mentioned this before.
I notice that if I install a module and accept a program restart, that settings I changed for the views, (and probably other things) are not saved.

I tried that and even stepped through the code and could not repeat it.
It could be a race condition somewhere but I can't repeat it: there is a small utility (restart.exe) that exists in the Cache folder that is started before theword.exe exits and waits until the current process exits, and the starts a new process of theword.exe (this is how the restart takes place).
The first instance of theWord saves it's current settings before exiting, so the new instance should be reading where the previous instance left over.
Can you test a bit to see if things happen as i describe?
