I'm trying to format a Bible module to make its viewing more aesthetic and easier on the eyes. I'm finding that <P> <BR> <CL> <CM> and <CI> at the end of the verse have the same effect - namely, a rather wide paragraph space. Is there any other tag that would yield a somewhat tighter space between verses? Omitting the tag altogether makes the verses tighter than intraverse lines, which is not good either. The module spec file I'm working from is 5/2012, ver 0.10, and is the latest I found.
Thanks,
Paul
Bible module paragraph spacing
Re: Bible module paragraph spacing
Unfortunately there is no such setting. I suggest to NOT use the paragraph/new line tags for such a thing because it will void several other functions related to the handling of paragraphs.
This should be really implemented as a feature in the Bible view itself (and it is a good feature)

Re: Bible module paragraph spacing
Thanks, Costas. I did read where the <P> and <br> tags were deprecated, but tried them as a last resort.
Controlling formatting via the Viewer would be excellent, as it would affect all Bible versions at once. Indent width would be a nice thing to include as well, from my perspective.
Blessings,
Paul

Re: Bible module paragraph spacing
Exactly. It's a really bad idea to use any paragraph marks within the text.
