Computers do not number like humans. They do it differently and this needs to be considered when making a mod, please.
I have a mod of the Babylonian 7 Tablets of Creation and it is out of order.
In the column on the left, it has numbers that you can click on to go to different sections. But the person who made the mod went up to four digits and didn't think it through as to how computers handle numbers and so, they ended up out of order.
What I mean is, computers start with zero, not one and they go in the order of the digit's place and not how many digits there are.
So in other words, 0010 will come before 002 even though the second number is only three digits and you and I would look at it as a smaller number, because it is only three numbers, instead of four and the number "2" ends up in the third column (from the left) and so, the computer sees it as a bigger number, because the "third column" number is bigger.
So in the mod, because he didn't expand that 002 out to 0002, the "chapters", or "tablets" appear out of order and so, you end up reading the seventh tablet before the sixth tablet and so forth.
Can this be fixed? I don't know how to do mods, so I don't know if anyone can tell me how to do it or not. I've never made a mod and please remember, "Oh, it's easy! only applies if you know what you're doing with it already, so talk to me like I'm six, okay?
