I downloaded the Thai KJV and am unable to see the text correctly. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it to display correctly? Thanks.

Oh, perhaps I should add that I'm in Linux. Sorry about that. I do have (or think I have) that enabled. I have it in GnomeSword (Linux Bible Program) and can see the text fine.csterg wrote:Hello Shane,

Hello Shane,
i suspect that the problem is that the 'emulated' windows cannot handle the win874 encoding that is used for the Thai Bible.
I converted the Thai Bible in utf8 and uploaded again here: http://download.theword.gr/bin/beta.tmp ... f8.ont.exe
Can you pls download it from this link and tell me if it works now?
TW supports both ANSII encoding and UTF8 but if there is a suitable ansii encoding i always prefer it because the search routines are much faster (2-3 times faster). OK, this is just an idea, if you can confirm that it would be great,
Thanks,
Costas

Well it was worth a shot. Oh well, don't worry too much about it. If it is displaying correctly in Windows, than we can write this off as a Linux/Windows Emulator problem, and not a program problem. Thanks for the help.
