I'm new to 'The WORD' (Great product by the way). I'm trying to import my e-sword modules with the importer but they all have a password protection. Where can we find Barnes, Matthew Henry, JFB (public domain commentaries) etc in a format that the importer can handle w/o a password?

Welcome!
Costas, the Word developer, has asked permission from the maker of e-Sword, to convert his public domain modules to the Word format. It is easily technically possible. He has not given permission. Costas, therefore, is not going to make those available against his wishes. Yes, the importer can handle any e-Sword module without a password (that is, Bibles, commentaries, and dictionaries, and notes I think). There are a bunch out there like that. I believe Costas can help you convert some modules on an individual basis, if you need to. Try looking in the beta downloads section, http://www.theword.gr/en/index.php/w/beta.download, there are already a bunch there, you may find what you're looking for.
It seems the ones you want are the ones not there, though. Barnes notes, for both the OT and NT are almost impossible to find. I have looked diligently. Matthew Henry should be easy enough to find on the internet. I'm not sure what format they would need to be in for Costas to convert them.
