Hello,
I have a Khmer NT Bible text in three formats (the Khmer Christian Bible):
VPL = Verse Per Line - a simple derivation from the text pasted from Excel.
IMP = Import format
ThML = Theological Markup Language (a simple XML format, but without a header).
The Bible is copyrighted, but I have permission from the copyright holder (Word of Life Ministries) to help distribute the text for Bible software use for free.
Is there an easy way to convert from one of the three sources I have? Also, the Bible does not always follow KJV chapter/verse - how does one customize the verses for a chapter? I didn't see a solution in the documentation: http://www.theword.net/index.php?articl ... &l=english
Thanks,
Nathan

Re: Khmer NT Bible Help?
Hey Nathan,
You would use the VPL format. The specification for the Bible modules are found under the link "Bible Module file specification" in the link you posted in your previous post. If there are instances in which the verses to not match up to the KJV versification, you will have to combine or split verses to match. There is no way for TW to use differing versification at this point.

Hello Nathan,
IMP and VPL are easy to convert. Do you want to mail it to me? root at theword dot net
