Few days ago I was studying Matthew 18:8 and I wanted to know which was the earliest fragment, uncial, codex, papyrus, etc from which that passage was taken to be included in our modern bibles. I did ask at the forum of other bible software since I have a critical apparatus book for it and other modules such as codex sinaiticus but to my surprise the information that I can obtain is rather limited (even when the program cost hundreds of dollars). I was told that the best book to obtain that kind of information is the CNTTS from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. But it cost almost a wopping $100.
I was wondering if there is any module that combined with The Word can provide that kind of information for free .
Any ideas?

This site has a good critical apparatus with some information about the manuscript dates - www.laparola.net/greco. I'm working on a theWord module using its data for my own use.
