Hide/Collapse in my commentary module

Post by jaredaseltzer »

I'm putting together a commentary with multiple related commentators, and I'm wondering if it is possible to have a "collapse" option that hides the content of each commentator until the user selects to see it.

For example, in the Bible view window, some Bible versions hide information about strong's, morphology, transliteration, etc. until a key is pressed (i.e., S, M, Z, respectively). The information is hidden until the user selects to see it.

Is something similar available for a commentary?

EDIT: I was just considering an alternative idea. Are hyperlinks permitted in commentaries that will scroll down to a predefined location in the document? That way, if there are multiple commentators in the open window each listed one after the other, but there is a short list of all the commentators at the top, then the user could click on the desired commentator and TheWord would jump down to that commentator's excerpt. Is this possible?
