Trying to find Brown Driver Briggs
Sorry to bother you all, but I've been away for a long time. First thing I did when I got on was install modules. Can't find BDB. Am I doing something wrong?
Re: Trying to find Brown Driver Briggs
We had some issue with it being copyright, so withdrew it.

Oh, that's really too bad. Thanks for replying.
Just wondering if this is another case of people who don't actually hold a copyright trying to eliminate the competition for their re-printed books. The BDB is from the 1800's isn't it? How could it possibly be under copyright? I only ask because a couple of years ago there were a lot of guys re-printing old books and alleging copyright infringement so Google would remove the free ebooks from online. The work is cited in other publications from the 1800's, and in the U.S., I'm fairly certain that anything printed prior to about 1924 is supposed to be public domain. Not trying to cause trouble, just trying to understand.
