Thanks to Mr. Eliran Wong at http://Marvel.Bible and the makers of MySword for pointing me to Mr. Wong for this information.
source: https://github.com/eliranwong/unabridge ... ew-lexicon
Paragraphs and verse references formatted by Eliran Wong [ https://marvel.bible ]
Much help from Costas in programming.

We now have a alpha/beta version of "The Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew and English Lexicon"
Note this is the unabridged version.

Note this download link is not forever it is for those who wish to try this module out and report errors.
If you wish to report an error please indicate the topic it is found in and detail the error.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KM3pd ... qZOl1Uxmfp Look for uBDB

I will try to build a list of errors here and note if they are resolved.

Error list:
-- <checkingNeeded/> - is from the source indicating they desire to perform a check (Can anyone with this dictionary check this?) (need fixed)
-- <wrongReferenceRemoved/> these need References checked. (Can anyone with this dictionary check this?) (need fixed)
-- Numbers such as 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 with a box and a dot inside it (need fixed)

verse refs with v in front of them. Looks like a generic artefact throughout the module.

Thanks JG - fixed I believe - could you shoot me some regex to test for stuff like that? Thanks (There is a new upload) Also do you know the rtf for giving a gap before text in a table? I have:

Code: Select all

{\trowd\trautofit1
       \clbrdrt\brdrs\brsp20\brdrcf2'
       \clbrdrl\brdrs\brsp20\brdrcf2'
       \clbrdrb\brdrs\brsp20\brdrcf2'
       \clbrdrr\brdrs\brsp20\brdrcf2'
       \clftsWidth1\cellx0\intbl '

I just saw it visually.
I don't have a special regex. To find similar I tried v[^{ ]+\{
And that would be using SQLiteRegexer
Doing so I notice the possibility of some v. cases similar to v ones.

I don't know about the table issue. Why not make one in theWord and put a space and check the rtf code (once you have converted it to rtf from within theWord)

I will begin uploading at thewordmodules.com to help with the googledrive error
http://www.wordmodules.com/the-word-mod ... testament/

However I would prefer bug reports here since I frequent this forum.

Jonathan,

Thanks for your good work. Checking is needed where these tags are located. Thanks.

I see the square box with a big 7 by it at H5414.
I think you already mentioned these, didn't know whether you had tried to eliminate them yet.

Also some round dotted circles in other places although that may be a feature of the original work.

Let me know what you are aware of and I can proceed checking things you are not aware of.

Good work, it looks really good to me...I hate to look for things wrong since it is so well done and don't want to over-burden you...to me, any errors here are minor...you should see some of my own built modules;)

the squares mean it is missing a font tag, in this case. But other cases it is that the needed glyph is not in the font.
If you select those squares any set them to Segoe ui or Tahoma they will show.

Thank you both! RevSteve and JG
Good to know JG on that I'll see if I can get them a font tag.
RevSteve - I appreciate the error checking as it means the end product will be better. (Sometimes it is a lot of work to fix but it brings about a quality product.)

Is there anyone with a paper version of the uBDB interested in helping fix some errors or checking some errors. It will be time consuming there are at present 637 entries that need checked and then info provided back.

1. You will need paper uBDB (This is what is needed to verify)
[Edited] or use this https://archive.org/details/hebrewengli ... t/page/n23
2. Patience and attention to detail helpful
2. You will need to check some references that are already marked with <checking Needed>
3. Return the BDB# topic and the <checkingNeeded/> reference and indicate what the reference should be. (some topics may have more than one correction)

Tips. theWORD's Booksearch is very helpful in identifying the topics with checkingNeeded (Simply mark uBDB and search it. If you get a search error please continue this should be fixed at sometime.)
Tips. The strong number paper version can be helpful for locating entries quicker.

I will provide you with the updated uBDB module for theWORD via email.
Please email me via jonathanbethanykoehn at gmail.com if interested.

uBDB has been brought up to version 0.5 check the about section for items that could still use work. Some of these items are very manual intensive and so may not be changed until further help is available.
