[SOLVED] RTF modules unreadable in SQL DB browser

I have a couple of commentary modules - Meyer, and Expositor's Greek Testament - that say they are RTF. But when I look at them in a DB browser, all I see in the content table is "BLOB", indicating binary content. I've run the RTF conversion on them to try to fix this, but it changed nothing. And both modules are User Modules, so they can be edited.

Just wondering what I'm missing here. Thanks.

Please give a link to the modules and we can check them out.

Hi Jon,

Here's Meyer, Heinrich:

http://www.wordmodules.com/the-word-mod ... y-20-vols/

And here's Exp:

http://www.wordmodules.com/the-word-mod ... nt-5-vols/

But I see there's a newer, more complete version of Exp from the same site:

http://www.wordmodules.com/the-word-mod ... olume-set/

So I'm going to install it and perhaps replace the other with it.

By the way, Jon, I've made some progress using a DB Browser to reformat things in rtf modules, such as paragraph spacing, bold font, etc, thanks to you getting me started. Thanks!

Paul

The other Expositors' is a completely different work. It also looks good, so I probably will keep them both.

For the first one it needs to be decompressed.
You can do that in the module properties. Just uncheck the box

ARG! I completely overlooked that. It's fine now. Expositors' is also compressed.

THANKS MUCH!
