Is there a reason why links into 4shared appear to not be working today?

Re: Shared user modules
I just tried it and it worked fine. Maybe the server where my page is hosted was doing a backup or maybe the site was down for a few minutes. anyway it should work now at:DarrelW wrote:Is there a reason why links into 4shared appear to not be working today?

I think the problem is that you were just clicking on the link instead of Right-clicking & then selecting "Save Link As" But to make it easier, I'm redoing the page with better instructions. Thanks for the info about the links.

Re: Shared user modules
I have a set of maps that I downloaded from a non-profit (.org) website that is no longer up & running. The maps have a copyright on them from the dead site. While the site was still up I tried 3 times to seek permission from 3 different people to place the maps in the Public Domain & never got any answer. Three years ago I place the maps on my site & have never had any complaints. I then found out that the AccessFoundation.Org might own the copyright and I tried one more time to reach them about the copyright & never got a response. My thinking on the matter is if it isn't important enough for anyone from two different organizations to respond then they must not care. Anyway. I have made a TWM file of the maps if anyone wants to download it for TheWord.
HTML file so you can see what the maps are like:
http://http://www.swartzentrover.com/co ... 0Atlas.htm
The TWM file:
http://www.swartzentrover.com/cotor/E-B ... as.gbk.zip
For the record, the original site where I downloaded the maps was http://www.anova.org/sev/atlas/htm/index.html
If they wish to sue me for all my worldly possessions then they can have my collection of already chewed bubblegum & my boxed set collection of famous people's aglets

When I attempt to down your file from:

it says it is on the last disk of the backup set and I need to insert the first disk and I appear dead. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks, Darrel

Re: Shared user modules
I don't know why the TWM files wont save. They did on my PC but I tested them on another & they didn't so i just zipped them into .ZIP files that I know will download safely. So now the links will work although now the files will have to unzipped. If someone other then the admins (Who already have to much on their plates) knows how to make self install files from the TWM files wants to set them up, I'll upload them to my site. I just have a basic knowledge of HTML but have no knowledge of VB or whatever program is used to make the Install files. Sorry for the mix up.

Re: Shared user modules
I had a similar problem to Darrel; archive manager said it couldn't find the directory, etc, etc. I renamed the file from .zip to .rar and it worked fine.

Apologetic Book Modules
Hello,
I'd like to share two Apologetics modules with everyone.
Tekton: aprox. 53 meg
http://www.4shared.com/file/146097734/9 ... ongbk.html
Thinktank: aprox. 16 meg
http://www.4shared.com/file/146098870/a ... nkgbk.html
Most of the articles in these modules offer in depth explainations that go beyond articles from (for example) CARM.
The Tekton module is from http://www.tektonics.org (used by permission - see copyright within module). The eschatology articles from Tekton are Preterist in nature (personally I'm a Futurist), there are about 20 (of over 1200 articles).
The Thinktank module is from http://www.christian-thinktank.com with no copyright other than "PrayerWare" see here http://www.christian-thinktank.com/prayware.html (contains about 700 articles)
I hope these are useful to you in your studies in Scriptural Apologetics.
Clayton

I looked at this link:

I know for sure that I have seen these maps in one of my printed Bibles. Did anyone check to see if they are public domain or not? Thanks.
