Faulty text in VWS module

I'm an e-Sword user who just discovered The Word (great program - very flexible). I downloaded Vincent's Word Studies (VWS) from The Word site, looked at John 1:1, and found a large number of errors, apparently an OCR read was not edited. I suggest you remove this until it is fixed. (I downloaded another VWS from The First Six Days site which seems to be correct.) Just trying to be helpful. Other commentaries seem to be OK.
-- Thanks

Would it be possible to tell me exactly where the error is? I may overlook something, but with a quick look it seems ok,

Errors in the first half of the comments on John 1:1
(I'm comparing with the book)
1. "ver. 3" appears twice without a scripture popup
2. A citation for Luke 17:5 – should be John 17:5
3. A citation for "1 Eph. 1:1" – should be 1 John 1:1
4. "ajrch" – should be (in Greek characters)
5. Following that , the word "beginning" should be italicized
6. "hn" – should be (in Greek characters)
7. Following that, the word "was" should be italicized
8. "eijmi" - should be (in Greek characters)
9. Following that, the words "I am" should be italicized
10. "ejgeneto" – should be (in Greek characters)
11. Following that, "came in being" & "began to be" should be italicized
12. "vv. 3, 14" needs to be scripture popups
13. "ajrch" – should be (in Greek characters)
14. Following that, the word "in" should be italicized
15. "ajp' ajrchv" should be (in Greek characters)
16. Following that, the word "from" should be italicized
17. "iii.44" - should be a scripture popup
18. "1 Eph. 2:7, 24" should be 1 John 2:7, 24
19. "iii.8" Should be 1 John 3:8
Etc. etc, etc.

Vincent used uncommon abbreviations, such as 1 Ep. = first epistle.
Also, the italics are necessary to the meaning of some statements.

Don't burden yourself with corrections to be done. You can find a version of VWS with complete correct Greek passages on

The VWS is being redone by rpp. Check the 'Modules' section (sticky topic)
