Size of verse numbers

Without changing the size of the bible text, how do I make the verse numbers smaller?

I added a config.ini option for next build:

Ok then, how do I make the verse numbers larger and not superscripted? I want the verse numbers to be just like the regular text though maintaining its peculiar color.

I already got the verse numbers to list on the left and not flow through in each sentence or verse.

Your help is appreciated.
