Copy verses - limited range?

Hello, I just started exploring the program (using version 3.0.8.946), and I tried to copy the book of Genesis, but the pasted text only goes from 1:1 to 8:17. According to a text editor, this is 25,398 characters. I checked in the Preferences and found the Maximum clipboard text size, which was set to 100KB - more than enough. I also found that I can only type a value there of 999, but can use the arrow buttons or arrow keys to go higher, but that still didn't make any difference. Is there a limit to how many verses can be copied? If not, what am I doing wrong?

Hello and welcome,
you can only copy up to 200 consecutive verses from copyrighted Bibles.
From non-copyrighted Bibles there is no such limit,
