ABP Strong's numbering

Post by DarrelW »

Do we have any movement yet on an expanded dictionary for ABP, with definitions for extended Strong's numbers? For example Jer 19:2, the fifth Greek word is πολυάνδριον (Strong's G4179.3). I know there was a discussion somewhere about finding the extended Strong's number in another dictionary and pasting that definition into my active dictionary. But that can be quite a few numbers! Would love to a modified Strong's?

Well, I received an answer from the publisher. He said maybe sometime down the road they might put the lexicon in public domain, but for now they are essentially keeping it close to the chest as they are about to release the next version.

So it sounds like we won't be seeing it any time soon. Does that sound right?

You mean the places where there is no strong number for the Greek?
