 bible file contains less lines than expected

Post bible file contains less lines than expected
hi!
i have a new laptop that i put the word on
put bible and book files of mine on a usb stick
i have tried to transfer to new laptop
some ok some say bible file contains less lines than expected?
any suggestions how i can tweak files to be compatible?

Just guessing that it is data loss. Try copying on drive again.
