I am looking for the Scripture Indexing tool but it is not available at the link that is given. I think I downloaded it once but I can't seem to find it. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks,

Rich

I have been using the indexing tool a lot. I know that Costas is going to develop theWord to do this for as at some point, but I am not patient :).

Anyway, I am making some indexes that can be shared.

The first is a commentary file with links to all scripture references to the church fathers module that includes ante-nicene, nicene, and post-nicene Fathers. Many of the scripture references in the file are in the footnotes. Raymond helped me get the footnotes at the bottom to link to the footnote in the text.... so you can find the text very quickly. Click the link in the commentary index, then click the link on the footnote and you are there! I find this extremely useful.

You can get the commentary index for the church Father's and the modified church father's module here:
http://www.wordmodules.com/the-word-mod ... ommentary/

When theWord develops in this area you will want to overwrite this module again with the official theWord module.

I especially enjoyed reading all the quotes of the last 12 verses of Mark last night. Some of those church father's quotes are very early, especially the THE DIATESSARON OF TATIAN which is a gospel harmony from the 2nd century apparently. I need to do some more research on that one to make sure it is what it seems to be...

Hello everyone,

Is there a place to download this tool? It no longer appears to be available at the link posted on this forum.

Sorry about the dead link. The file expired and I don't have a web site to host it on.
I use the generated output of this tool every day but since not many new book modules have come out that interest me I haven't run it in a couple years. Health, children and ministry have kept me away from working on it.
Hopefully, one day, this functionality will be available in theWord directly.

Pastor Baldwin,

How large is the file?

Is it something that could be posted at the WordModules web site? If I understand their site, your upload would be posted there and shared with other.

If you have a gmail account, it could also be zipped and uploaded to a google drive (for free) and then shared to whoever has the link.

I too understand the health issues. In February I had a brain surgery and this forced me to take a short hiatus to many of the ministry. Now that I am on the mend and looking to get involved again I was really intrigued by your tool and what it could possibly help me with.

Thank you in advance for however you can help.

Thank you Rich for your help!

I'll try this and see if it can help.

Does anyone know if there is a similar tool for E-sword?

Just curious. What is the status on this tool? Has it been incorporated into TW already? Thanks!

No movement.
Costas is still working to pay of Greece national debt €300 billion.
