I've been using theWord now for some time and prefer it to using e-Sword. However, for quite some time I've waiting waiting with abated breath that we could also download a premium Bible, such as the CJB. It comes to e-Sword at a premium of $15, which is really worth it.
Do I go back to using e-Sword, or is CJB forthcoming?
Blessings in Yeshua

Re: Complete Jewish Bible
Hello Zentie,
I cannot answer the question for you on whether eSword or theWord best suits your needs. We have attempted in the past to get the CJB but our attempts have been unsuccesful. I can revisit the issue for sure and see if we can get this Bible for theWord,

Would it help if those of us who are interested in CJB for theWord contacted the publisher asking them to make it available? I'm trying to talk some of my friends into using theWord but they are big CJB fans, as am I.
Re: Complete Jewish Bible
As it happens, Costas has got the data and was working on it today.

BWT - Are there any plans to add Stern's NT commentary?csterg wrote:It is almost ready, now my top priority, next thing to be released.

Re: Complete Jewish Bible
Stern's NT commentary has also been licensed, but it requires work to be formatted for theWord. In first phase the CJB will be published. Stern's commentary will be after that (workers to help out are welcome )

I'd be honored to volunteer if you can use people with limited skills. Is there a document somewhere that describes the kind of tasks and skills needed for this particular job?csterg wrote:Stern's NT commentary has also been licensed, but it requires work to be formatted for theWord. I have Stern's commentary in Logos so I know what it looks like there (whether that is a help or hindrance).

Thank you! One of the most difficult tasks here is to break down the procedure in steps that can be executed in parallel. I don't know yet if this is doable, yet I welcome your help

Based on the power, elegance, and functionality of theWord, I suspect if anyone can find a way, you can. Meanwhile, I will await the call for volunteers and hope I can help.csterg wrote:Thank you! Did Stern's NT commentary ever get completed or am I just not seeing it?
