Is it possible to set up theWord so that new Bible views are displayed as tabs across the top of the display rather than separate (docked or undocked) windows?
Really looking for a way to follow train of thought as you see cross ref scriptures, clicking on them and either replacing the current verse or spawning an entirely new window are not the most convenient -- looking for a way for that to create a new tab with the new bible view on it?
is this possible through exisiting options? I've hunted around the UI and here on the forums a bit but the only tabs I see referenced are the tabs for the Bible version in the Bible View window.
I'm using 5.0.1450

Welcome to theWord forum.
No the UI does not have the tabs as you describe them.
So you find a second Bible view too distracting to use for looking up xrefs. In such cases doesn't the popup that is displayed when you hover the xref suffice?

Would it help to have locally minimized Bible Views with one set to open verse links?
