Where does theWord store underlining info

Post by rdwray »

I tried to backup theWord, but when I did it did not have all the underlining in it, where is that information saved?

Various files and paths are noted here in the help file.

I copied the entire theWord folder and the underlines are missing in the NKJV, which is encrypted, but they are present in the KJV which is not encrypted.

I just opened My.bhls.twm in sqlite and it shows "volumeid" "4" which is shown as "nkjv" under "highlight_master", but they are not present in the "Bible view".

I have asked Costas for his thoughts on this as I am not sure of the logic behind it.

If you look at the 'highlight' table, do you rows where volumeid=4?

Is it possible that you got the wrong file (e.g. from the wrong location?). If you are running in compact mode the file is in the same folder as the theword.exe

I also checked under the highlights and it does show "4".

I copied the entire "theWord" folder, so there wasn't a way to get a wrong file.

If you add more highlighting to the nkjv, is it shown in the my.bhls.twm file.

I didn't try that Jon, here is what I did do and this doesn't make any sense, but it is working:

1. Deleted the folder.
2. Copied the folder again.
3. Still no underlines.
4. Copied ver 1451 that I had into same folder.
5. Underlines present.
6. Deleted folder.
7. Copied same folder again.
8. Underlines are showing.

Where is the logic in this :?:

I am going to look at something else and will get back with you, but right now I am baffled.

Costas, Jon,

I don't know, it is working now, if I find out anything, like I messed up, I will let you know.

Thanks,
God bless.
