A Conservative Version NT (miniscule edition) Version 2

Post by mathetes »

Attached is a module for A Conservative Version NT by Walter Porter. It is a reverse interlinear with the English as the main text. The Greek can be toggled by using the "G" key. This module has been configured to be able to use the new hidden link mode for the Strong's numbers and the morphology codes when the Greek words are toggled on. This module uses miniscule characters for the Greek. Walter Porter's website is at http://www.stillvoices.org/.

I have the older module of this. And I thought that was pretty good. This one is better. I like being able to toggle the Greek and Morphology codes on and off in this newer one. Is this downloadable from the authors web site? I couldn't find a link to it there.

Also, I wonder if they have (or are planning) an ACV Reverse Interlinear for the Old Testament? That would be great.

I'm looking forward to the Interlinear that Costas is going to make available as well. It'll be interesting to compare them.

I also plan to include the ACV as an official module, along with the Apostolic,

Upon opening the ACV I found an error in John 8:1:
(John 8:1) BUT δε IESOUS ιησους WENT επορευθη TO εις THE το MOUNT ορος OF THAS των OLIVES ελαιων
"THAS" should be "THE".

I am coming across many errors with the English text, so far with the definite article. "The" being
"THO" and "THOS"

I am sorry for the previous posts. After reading the information on the module is see the author states "The words “tho,” “thos,” “tha,” “thas,” and “thes” in my translation are not misspellings, they are words I coined in order to compensate for the lack of an English equivalent." I do apologize for my failure to research.

Did the ACV ever make to the official module list?

It appears it should have been made available...
I have just uploaded it so it can be downloaded via Add titles or the site route. Suggest removing the previous version.

Is the ACV the only reverse interlinear we have in TW? And are there plans for an Hebrew reverse interlinear? Thanks

I think there is the Apostolic Bible Polyglot interlinear.

Yes, but it is an interlinear and not a reverse interlinear. :)
