 losing compact setup I installed theWord as compact on usb stick and it was working fine. Then it started losing that setup and using the C drive setup. I know one time was because I had removed the usb stick to use another usb stick to get data for another program and another time it seemed it started after an update of windows was initiated. Now every time the program is started it goes to C drive.

Re: losing compact setup I seemed solve the problem by uninstalling the program then reinstalling

Re: losing compact setup To me it appears you somehow had a TW installation on your C drive and the one on your USB stick, and it appears you were executing the theWord.exe from the C drive.
