I recently updated my NASB using "Add Titles" button. At Ps 8.4, "What" is not highlighted but the rest of the verse is highlighted. I don't know if this is a recently introduced issue.
The attached image shows what it looks like here.

Can you go back and try highlighting the What?

I can highlight "What" for copying, just as I can select any Bible text. It is just the verse highlight feature does not seem to be working here. All the other verses highlight fine when navigating thru the verses. I assumed this is a tagging or coding issue.
Is your highlighting working as expected when you navigate to verse 4 in NASB?

In NASB 1995 yes I can highlight the whole verse of Psalm 8:4
Also in NASB 1977 as well.

I may not be making myself understood. I am not talking about manually selecting text. I am talking about the automatic highlighting of the current verse.jonathangkoehn wrote:In NASB 1995 yes I can highlight the whole verse of Psalm 8:4

This also works fine here. in NASB 1977, NASB 1995.
You might check your settings like turn footnotes on/off, cross references etc.

Thanks. This is interesting. Both normal (no xrefs or footnotes) leave "What" outside the verse highlight. Ditto with footnotes turned on.jonathangkoehn wrote:This also works fine here. in NASB 1977, NASB 1995.

But with cross refs on, "What" is included in the verse highlight. (see image)

Re: NASB highlighting @ Psalm 8.4
I think it is because you have the setting in Bible options -> Paragraphs and heading-> Always use "Alternate paragraphs":
I suggest setting it to "If the module does not have paragraphs, then use "Alternate paragraphs"

Thanks for the suggestion, but it was already set that way when I checked just now. (see image)JG wrote:I think it is because you have the setting in Bible options -> Paragraphs and heading-> Always use "Alternate paragraphs":

The image shown at the start does not make sense to the settings you have.
Please can you upload your config.ini file

Here is the config.ini file (in a zip file). I run theWord from a thumb drive if that makes any difference.JG wrote:The image shown at the start does not make sense to the settings you have.

Thanks
I have used your file and guess what. The setting that you thought was set isn't, it shows as "Always use Alternate paragraphs".
Actually my bad
I did not notice you posted the wrong picture. You need to look at the similar setting in the Paragraphs

Thanks for using the forum and getting it sorted. I don't understand why it should make the difference to be honest... Also I should have paid closer attention to your screenshot. It is like you see something and change the wording in your mind, and no matter how hard you look it just does not look wrong.
