Option 1. It is possible you only got a partial download. Try with a different browser to download again and in detailed bug report submit the .7z or .Zip size so we can compare. Option 2. (Recommended) Open theWord7 > Add Titles > Official Repository > Core section > Download beta from there.

sp384 should fix this an you should even be able to do animated Gif now. (You may have to reinstall the book if you saved or changed it.)

This should no longer happen..right click 381 does it have a SHA? As in a Microsoft approved stamp? If not I may have missed it on 381. 383 is up in theWordLabs and has the SHA. Please do not exclude from Windows Defender it is not needed.

Does it work on User modules just not Non-User modules?

For now try adding more details to your bug report. Also you can install the beta and try that instead from its 7z or Zip file. Also you can go back to the previous version that worked via your theWord install folder you will find theword.exe_backup or theword.exe.backup simply remove the _backup or...

Perhaps you have more than one config.ini file or are deleting the wrong config.ini file. The config.ini is still used in theWord7
As to the left and right margins I'll have to look into that possibly at some time.
