Can install ver. 6 on a thumb drive but still run ver. 5 from the hard drive?

The problem persists. I have no popup blocker except what chrome provides. I deleted all theWord cookies (3).
This pertain to my desktop. There is no such problem on my laptop.

The clipboard will correctly read,for instance, 1Peter or 1Pet; 2Cor, etc. In writing, I have made it a habit to refer to scripture in this manner. This solves the problem.

Is this one still on the to do list? It would be a big help in word studies. E-Sword reports the the total hits as well as the verses with hits. That helps, but if you could identify the verses with the multiple hits it would be better.

When I search for Strong's G5457 (light) in John I get a report of 16 verses. There is no indication that there are multiple hits in some of these verses. A report of 16 verses with 23 hits would be helpful. It would be even more helpful if the verses with the multiple hits were identified, for exam...

Yep, the "verily\W*\s*verily" works. And I love TheWord even with this glitch. Now, being, as I am, a simple minded man, it seems to me that the search should just ignore punctuation and find only the words, just like it ignores verse numbers. But then, it's probably not as simple as I thi...
