Try this (ALXX): http://forum.theword.net/download/file.php?id=2415
the LXXM is coded differently.
Thank you, brother. This seems ideal for my use. Much appreciated.

Re: Little Kittel mis-maps G1432

Bingo. That did it. The setting is not in the Bible window / options / word lookup, neither in the TDNT module itself, but is in the options of the book view I use for commentaries.

Thanks much.

Little Kittel mis-maps G1432

I'm in Gal 2.21, where it has δωρεὰν G1432 . This maps correctly in bdb-thayer, mikelson, and thayer proper. But TDNTa takes it to αισθάνομαι C143 . Curiously, if after clicking on G1432 I focus on TDNTa with it's incorrect word showing, then change the focus to Thayer, it too will show the incorrec...

Re: My checkout experience

Yes, I definitely understand limited resources and the immensity of the task. But as for the checkout process, I'm only trying to help the project with constructive criticism. I did refer to the help page. I did not get the impression that my credit card debit would be going through paypal. I though...

My checkout experience

was not good. After installation, I had to go to the site and manually find the resource again, and make sure I had the right one. I found out I had to click "Go to Paypal" even though I was going to pay by card. I got to PP and it sent a code to my phone. I entered the code and ended up b...

Thanks, Rich. I just purchased TDNTa. I had used it a bit already, and I'm sure it will be a good investment.

Re: Full TDNT v. Little Kittel v. Complete Word Study Dictionary?

Thanks, Dave. I was considering the Zodhaites work, but when I checked the entry on Agape, he did a LONG dissertation on Jesus asking Peter "do you love Me?". Too long. This seemed to confirm for me that the TDNTa would be more compact and to the point for me. And thanks for you reviews. T...

Re: Full TDNT v. Little Kittel v. Complete Word Study Dictionary?

Thanks, jonathan. That was very helpful. I especially found Dave's video review of TDNT helpful. I think the full TDNT would probably be more than I can use. And I hadn't considered the TWOT, but that is definitely a possibility. I also found the text of some of these works at archive.org, and was a...

Full TDNT v. Little Kittel v. Complete Word Study Dictionary?

Hi, I'm a fledgling Greek student, self-taught. Most, though not all, of my word study has been in the NT. My main dictionary sources have been Thayer's and Vine's, which have been super helpful, but now I'm considering investing in a higher level of dictionary. I've always loved what I've seen of L...

Re: Configurable paragraph styles in the editor

I'm on Linux, so Ditto is a no-go. I use Copy-Q, which is awesome. It also has a residual group for pasting, accessible by hotkey. But for some reason it kills formatting. I also can't drag and drop into TW because it's on WINE on Linux. And I just tested, and suddenly formatting is being preserved,...

Re: Configurable paragraph styles in the editor

One way I see to do this is to compose in Libreoffice, which has para styles, and then cut and paste into TW. Not ideal, but it works. For me there is the added problem of having to first close my clipboard manager, because it prevents formatting carryover. Edit: This also has the advantage of autoc...

Re: Configurable paragraph styles in the editor

Yes, theWord is a great note taker, especially because of the interplay between notes and Bible window. I too find notetaking a powerful way to dig into and come to understand the Word. And styles are indeed a powerful way to make the notes accessible and lessen eyestrain. I believe the TW editor is...

Configurable paragraph styles in the editor

I realize this may not be a priority, but I wanted to get it out there, anyway. It would be great if the editor allowed for configuring the default paragraph style, or even offered more than one style. Those two concepts are not mutually exclusive, of course. Currently I right-click every verse note...

How to make morphology text smaller? [SOLVED]

I'd like to shrink the morphology text a bit. Currently it is quite large. Here's a shot of the SBL Bible with morphology: aaa_2022-09-08_54(2).png Here's what I see that I think is pertinent at the bottom of the SBL text file: font=Gentium,GentiumAlt,TITUS Cyberbit Basic,Vusillys,Cardo,Georgia Gree...
