Downloaded SBL Hebrew (I had some other fonts for Hebrew that might have worked too)...but the custom font under module properties did the job. Thanks Jon!

Yes Darrell, I have been switching over all my old laptops to Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.1 and everything from Windows just seems to work...especially The Word, which loads up my thousands of synced modules from Dropbox so much faster! In Windows I would get bored waiting for the system to boot up, the modules to archive and the antivirus to do its job.

The Word in Linux Mint is such a blessing for my Bible study and teaching.

Thanks again, Costas!

I see some squares on some caption bars also. Try to open the english.lng file and setup a font (it is in the first 5 lines) that supports Hebrew.

Okay, I did do this in english.lng. Before it had Courier New and I changed it to SBL BibLit and saved the file. As to installing it, what do I do? I have attached a screenshot after changing the font.

#The _main_ section should be located at the beginning of the file (not below the 20th line)
[_main_]
name=English (EN)
credits=Costas Stergiou ([email protected])
langid=1033
version=4.0.0.1341-125
#font=SBL BibLit

One thing, you need to uncomment that
#font=SBL BibLit
remove the #
