Copy and Paste TheWord to MS Word for Mac 15.35

How do I copy verses, commentary notes etc from Word 5 to MS Word. I have asked this question before but have since upgraded my Mac Book Pro to a Mac Book running Siera 10.12.6 and using the latest version of TheWord. and Quartz. I have tried using cmd+v, Control+Alt+C in TheWord and Cmd+v in Word but I can not get it to copy or paste.

Still having problems with copying from TheWord program and pasting to MS Word on a Mac running OS High Sierra. Nothing seems to work.
Can anyone help? It would be much appreciated.

Did you ever get this working?
I'm running theWord under wine on MacOS High Sierra and copy/paste is working fine using ctrl+c in theWord and cmd+v in MacOS.
The graphics driver that wine is running in might make a difference. I'm using the native graphics. The other option is XQuartz.
