I was marking some text in a book module. In this case, it was yellow highlight.
Each application involved me (1) highlighting the word(s) then (2) clicking on the highlight button.
It would help if after selecting the word(s) I could press a shortcut key that would apply the previously-used marking. Preferably a single key. I'm not very good with the mouse so it takes some time and coordination to find the formatting toolbar then the correct button on it.
(Logos goes the extra mile by letting me specify what key I want to use - "y" for yellow highlight, for example. I'm not looking for that level of control, just the previous markup.)
Thanks for consideration.

Can you refresh my memory RE format painter? I can't find it in help or see anything that looks like format painter in other programs. Thanks.csterg wrote:Hmm... negative.

in Book view formatting toolbar, it is the 4th icon from the left (a brush): it works like this:
1. You select some text in your book view
2. You click this icon
3. You select some other text in book view: formatting from selection 1 is copied to this selection.
This copies ALL formatting, including text and paragraph.

Thanks. My other programs use a paint roller so I missed it here.csterg wrote:in Book view formatting toolbar, it is the 4th icon from the left (a brush)
