Interlinear on multiple lines

It would be very helpful if the Bible window could somehow display multiple lines per word (for use with interlinear modules especially), for example,

1 βίβλος        γενέσεως              Ιησού     Χριστού   υιού   Δαβίδ        υιού    Αβραάμ
The book    of the genealogy  of Jesus   Christ,     son    of David,   son    of Abraham.

instead of

1 βίβλος The book γενέσεως of the genealogy Ιησού of Jesus Χριστού Christ, υιού son Δαβίδ of David, υιού son Αβραάμ of Abraham.

not unlike how the Interlinear Bible https://biblehub.com/interlinear/matthew/1.htm displays it. With html tables it is no problem, but I understand that it may be a challenge for theWord, currently. It just makes reading and studying much more efficient and intuitive, and it's an idea for later versions of theWord, if nothing else.

You can do this with MySword for Android.

I wish someone could make a script and prefix <wt> to every Greek word in TRi.nt so that when converted to MySword, this feature would work (I assume using iBiblia).

You should ask the MySword team for help with this resource.

Notepad++ use a find/replace if you need to replace <GR> with <wt> or <wt><GR>

if replace <GR> with <wt> then just replace it is pretty easy to use.
If add then replace <GR> with <wt><GR>

I'm not sure on MySword format but you should be able to do a lot with Notepad++

As it appears, its more than just the <wt> codes. Thankfully, MySword team already worked on it and sent me their beta version.

I don't know how feasible this is, but it would be very nice.

Has anyone considered generating a commentary version of the "Free-to-us" Bibles such as Byz2005 and others. With tables that divide the text like this on a per verse basis? or per chapter.

A few more words on what this would do for us?

This is more for those who want to see it visually this way. It would however limit the strongs, lemmas, links etc in the book view. They could sort of be implemented but not as nice, I believe.

It has primarily to do with the visual aspect.

Hi,

First: thanks for this great software!

We are also missing the multiline interlinear layout. Is this going to be implemented in theWord?

Thanks in advance,
