I often launch TheWord and start typing search terms, forgetting that the search panel isn't active by default. This causes my screen to mess up badly, as I press a series of shortcut keys, and it often takes me a long time to get things back to normal.
Please could you make the search bar active when the program launches?

F2 F3 F4 are the shortcut keys for putting the caret in the book search, Bible search, and Verse lookup.

Thanks, that is useful, but I really think one of these should be selected by default, so users can begin typing when the program launches.

Re: Make search box active when the program starts
I guess this is a pretty subjective thing, sometimes I want to go to a specific verse, yes, but sometimes I want to do a Bible search, for instance. I'm afraid we'd never get to a consensus as to what should be the default first operation.

I often go to verses, sometimes notes first, sometimes a search depends on the day or minute.
