This only happens in the floating Book view (book, card, etc). Text can be formatted so no bold, italic, color, etc..
With floating Bible view the formatting bar is present

There have been some changes. All is working properly. The format tools now appear in the floating view for books etc. When you click on a normal Bible view, or a floating Bible view, the format tools still appear in the main program window.
