A.T. Robertson, BIG Greek Grammar

Post by cornopean »

Robertson's huge Greek grammar is now available from Gordon-Conwell. Nicely formatted too. can we get this converted to TheWord format?

If Robertson's grammar is made available for TheWord, that will mean that the two major grammars for Hebrew and Greek will be available for TheWord.
Gesenius for Hebrew and Robertson for Greek. Both nicely formatted. :) It doesn't get much better than that!!

Hi cornopean.

I don't know if this book as copyrights issues but if not I think the only way to reproduce for TW is the "hard way", in other words, just copy/paste to a book module because, considering the pdf to word softwares has some lacks and for greek this could be even worse :(

try one of the user sites which has many user made modules. AT roeberston has already been done, but its not unicode. I know I downloaded it last year. the work is in public domain pre-1923 U.S.

Has any progress been made on this?
I'm very tempted to get it into theWord since it appears pre-copyright. I thought there was a theWord version out there but not sure.

There were 2 versions of this in TheWord module form.
I looked at both...this has been years ago.
One was really not good at all and I thought the other looked pretty good.
But to be honest, I didn't thoroughly look at the better one and I don't recall where I got it from.

I may still have it but will have to sort through years of hard drives and flash drives to find it.
I'll put that on list of things to do to see if I can find...in the meantime, someone else might have the same as what I have/had and can locate it easier.

I found a version on my computer which has in the about:

Text is Public Domain

Imported to The Word Bible Software by the School of Ministry http://www.ccsom.org and http://www.thefirstsixdays.com

However the greek is not in unicode in it so I may still convert it.

I have permission from the person who made the document to convert the link that RubioTerra posted. We'll see what happens.

I had to go in and convert the Greek font into a unicode. I need to do likewise with the Hebrew plus format otherwise that could take some time.
