Greetings a note on the Morphology Module included.
I'm not sure if this has been addressed but I'm not finding the morphology for
V-XXM-2P. .
For an example of that morphology go to NA27 and open verse Matthew 28:6 the word

I like the layout of this module.
Thanks so much.

That's because this morphology dictionary contains only the tags found in the Byz2005++ module. It was created to be used with this bible module.jonathangkoehn wrote:a note on the Morphology Module included.

Re: Byzantine Textform 2005 NT with accents, parsing, lemma,
A similar text to yours has been adapted and posted for MySword (Android) users - one problem, MySword doesn't allow you to turn off the variant readings, and so the Book of Revelation is interrupted by constant variants. Would it be possible to make the variants work as 'notes' (MySword allows these to be turned on and off)? When your TheWord version is completed, it would allow a better MySword module to be created from it.
Thanks so much for all your great work!
Arnie

Re: Byzantine Textform 2005 NT with accents, parsing, lemma,
I'm well pleased with the module as it is right now and have no changes planned for it. As for your request, the module already have the variants as notes, so it would suffice to remove the alternate readings between the <alt> tag. You can use regular expressions in a text editor to substitute "<var>.*?</var>" for "".

Re: Byzantine Textform 2005 NT with accents, parsing, lemma,
Hello!
If this problem was stated before, sorry.
I'm trying to make BYZ 2005 text identical to this PDF (Byzantine Textform - Robinson-Pierpont - 2005). But without any variants. I'm using files ONLY presented at: http://www.byztxt.com/ (BYZ05CCT.ZIP and BP05FNL.ZIP)
Doing so, I found that module presented here have missing words like "Δαυίδ." in MAT 9:27 for example. If someone want to know all omissions, I can list all of them.

Re: Byzantine Textform 2005 NT with accents, parsing, lemma,
I just checked Matt. 9:27 in the files mentioned and I didn't see "David" missing. I converted the cct file several years ago. It's quite a bit of work to go through and convert it to unicode. Here is the one I did. It is a simple job to remove the variants if they are not wanted. https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0BwXtYasx ... load&hl=en

Thanks, CMoses, I'll check that. It must have been a problem with the script I created to build this module.

Hello
There are few more omissions. From what I remember all of them at the end of verse right after variant.
check also the line: Mk 16:8 - it seemed to be broken..

Re: Byzantine Textform 2005 NT with accents, parsing, lemma,
The files on http://www.byztxt.com/ have not been updated in many years. You should get the latest files at https://sites.google.com/a/wmail.fi/gre ... me/greeknt. By the way, it would be great if anyone could update the corresponding TheWord modules as those were based on the 2000 parsings. Also, if anyone knows the people over at Crosswire.org, I believe the MySword modules could also be used for the Bible Tool (http://www.crosswire.org/study/passagestudy.jsp?mod=Byz)? I told them about it a few times before but no one updated them.

Re: Byzantine Textform 2005 NT with accents, parsing, lemma,
I finally found the time to fix the errors CMoses pointed out. My script got quite complex, so I had a hard time (re)understanding it . I believe all errors were fixed, can you check it, CMoses?
Please get the updated module in the first post.
As for these updates, I took the time to compare them against the files from http://www.byztxt.com: indeed there are differences, nothing too dramatic, though -- some punctuation and several genres modified. I'll include them in the next release.lwq wrote:The files on http://www.byztxt.com/ have not been updated in many years.
