Greetings xxxapi,
Do you happen to have some publisher information, ISBN and such? This will speed up the research process.

I would love to have the remaining books of NICOT and NICNT added so I have a full set of these commentaries. I know that Exodus, Judges, 2nd Samuel, 1st and 2nd Kings, 1st and 2nd Chronicles, Ester, Psalms, Lamentations, Daniel, Hosea, Amos, I think Philemon are missing.

Japanese Shinkaiyaku Bible

Post by Rizing »

I am a missionary in Japan and would very much like to see the Japanese Shinkaiyaku translation of the Bible available on The Word. This translation is preferred by most evangelical churches in Japan. Currently only the Bungoyaku (archaic) and Kougoyaku (so-called "Colloquial Translation" of 1955 produced by the Japanese Bible Society) are available on The Word. Both of these are in the public domain. The Bungoyaku is so old as to be almost unreadable. The Kougoyaku is usable, but sounds unnatural and is not the most accurate translation. Currently the audio of the Shinkaiyaku version is available as a free download from https://graceandmercy.or.jp/app/

The latest version of the Shinkaiyaku was published in 2017. Here is the information.
ISBN: 978-4-264-03735-4
Publisher: Word of Life Press Ministries (Inochi no Kotoba Sha) https://www.wlpm.or.jp/
Copyright Holder: Shin Nihon Seisho Kankokai https://www.seisho.or.jp/

It is kinda like TDNT but Newer
I would be interested in this as well.

Is there an available roadmap of which modules we can expect?
Yes, it would be great to have NIDOTTE & NIDNTTE, and anything else with G/K numbers included.

Hi,
I am a real fan of the work of Arnold Fruchtenbaum and see that they made some material available for eSword.
I would like to buy these for The Word, I would also be willing to help in getting this done.
There are already modules available here https://www.ariel.org/esword-modules and it would be simple I think to make these available for the Word?

Kind regards, Be blessed!

RGennesses,
Would you be willing to reach out to the Airel Ministry and see if you can get them in touch with us? If you cc me in the emails using [email protected] that would be helpful.

For those interested in a roadmap of modules. Please see https://www.theWordBooks.com
Look for resources that are marked "out of stock" these are "coming soon" resources that are being worked on.

Any chance you will be producing a premium Bible module for the relatively new Evangelical Heritage Version? https://wartburgproject.org/

Greetings DEMcFadden,
I looked into the Evangelical Heritage Version. It may be a possibility in the future. However, there are a few hoops and loops that we would need to jump through beyond the norm to make it possible.
Thank you for your request. It helps me to know what users would like as I research additional resources. Usually if they are resource in a good digital format and with publishers we are already working with it is even easier to get them. It still takes time to get them and build them though.

"A New English Translation of the Septuagint and the Other Greek Translations Traditionally Included Under that Title"
http://ccat.sas.upenn.edu/nets/edition/ says that Accordance software has it as an option, so a digital format must already be made. You can download free locked (for editing) pdf files.
I don't know what the cost would be, but I assume it would be reasonable since they are allowing free pdf formats to circulate for personal use.

Greetings Mikeatnip,
Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately PDFs can be hard to work with at times. Another note to make sure we don't infringe on copyrights we usually need to ask for the author or publishers permission unless it is specifically in the Public Domain. There may be another format out there if you want to do some research and send an email to [email protected] that would be great.

I use Wordstudy ((c) 1992 by AMG international Chattanooga, TN 37422, Revised:1993) and it's the only reason I have e-sword on my computer. I would really like to have a mod in THEWORD so I don't have to keep switching back and forth. Can anyone help?
