Do you still have the install file?
Can you give me a OneDrive link to it so I can check that specific file

Here you go...
The executable NET.ontx.exe as well as the extracted NET.ontx bible file are in there.
Cheers
Ron
[Jon] Removed link now I have the files.

Re: Access Violation on startup NET (with notes) V2
The net.ontx file size is smaller than it should be. I suppose it was corrupted on install perhaps.....
I suggest you delete the net.ontx and install again.
I just installed from the installer you had on OneDrive and all was fine. The install file was identical to the site file, so no problem there.
Once the file is installed and decrypted and indexed the size should be 26.5 MB (27,865,088 bytes)

Re: Access Violation on startup NET (with notes) V2
Hi John,
Same Issue...
Perhaps the NET.ontx.exe I have is not the "V2" exe?
The unpacked/installed NET.ontx is 7.52 MB (7,890,890 bytes)
The "Info" tells me that it's Version: 1.1 with Identifier: nb1
Regards
Ron

Re: Access Violation on startup NET (with notes) V2
Stop press...
In the directory with the NET.ontx files (C:\ProgramData\The Word\Bibles) I found two other files:
"net.ontx.tmp.1"
"net.ontx.tmp.2"
each with a size of 26.5 MB (27,863,505 bytes) - Size on disk 26.5 MB (27,865,088 bytes)
hmmm...
I deleted "net.ontx.tmp.2"
I renamed the current "NET.ontx" to "NET.ontx.save" and then renamed "net.ontx.tmp.1" to "net.ontx"
Restarted theWord...Problem solved!
Not sure what was going on but I now have both NET (V1.1) and NET2 (V2.1) bibles installed.
Both work without error as far as I can see..
Cheers

Re: Access Violation on startup NET (with notes) V2
Good you got it working without error.
However I am concerned that you have two modules with the same internal id. but different versions and files. The idea of the update of the file is to replace the old. You might find in the Add Titles that it shows there is a new version? (I have not tested)
I suggest you delete both and start over with the install, but she's your ship to fly.
