In the "Add Titles..." feature, when I set it for "Show titles for which a new version exists," I see the version 2.1, 6/9/2021 release of NET Bible.

But I already have version 2.1 installed.

So...

Installed, yes. Several days ago, I used the "Add Titles..." feature to download and automatically install the 2.1 version. I was surprised to see both versions appear in my Bible window when The Word restarted, but did not think much of it. But when I ran the "Add Titles..." function again more recently, it still thinks 2.1 has not been installed.

Tell me more about "rename."

I suggest you delete both files restart theWord and check that both Bibles are gone. Then install again so you just have the one up-to-date Bible.
