Yes, rtf and html are working nicely. I even exported a 40 Mb modified AHLB and it opened beautifully in LibreOffice.

Thank you for the feedback all, keep it coming.
I will see what I can do with Libre Office. This looks like a Libre problem but I will put some time to check if i can fix it somehow.

OK. I am going to test with the Windows version, where the problem also exists. Hopefully i will find something there.

Click on Export Topics, choose the topics you want to export and the export options, then click Export. Now select the location, enter a filename, then click the down-arrow on box that says "Files of type:" and choose either Rich Text format or HTML file. Finally click "Save". When the dotted outline on "Export" clears the file will be in the location you saved it in. They work beautifully!

Hi Costas, Jon, Darrel and any who might be interested,

Export works great to WordPerfect using rtf format. Holds formatting, etc.

Hi Darell,

Thanks for the quick answer. I should have figured this out by myself

I can open the docx file with FreeOffice and WPS Writer beautifully. I prefer LibreOffice, but these two apps work nicely.

Feature Request: Subtopic Level No. equals No. of Tab charac

Post by malayangbiblia »

If its feasible that during export, TheWord converts the Topic Tree's subtopic level number to the number of tabs character in the exported document. It might be helpful for modules with multi-level tree/subtopics. The reason is that I find it easier to arrange the topics using the topic tree than to do it in the editor/word processor and to help make formatting/publishing huge books a lot easier.

I think you can do that yourself in MSWord since the topics are headings.

Yes, Outline in MS Word works good for this.
