Popup location on high res monitor

Post by csbrown »

Hello,

When using TheWord on Windows 10 on a high resolution (3840x2160) display, popup windows are displayed offset from the normal position. See attached picture for an example (the pointer is over note 1 next to "genealogy").

This only occurs when using the high res display as the secondary display in an extended desktop arrangement. If I make the high res display the primary display then popups are positioned correctly.

As a work-around I am setting the high res display as the primary display. The only downside of this is that I have to disconnect the display when launching TheWord to avoid the font size being set extremely small.

I wonder if this is actually a Windows 10 issue?

Many thanks,

Chris

Does anyone have a high res screen to check this.
So it is one hi-res and one normal?

I have this exact same problem with my double-monitor setup. Popups are misplaced on my secondary screen which uses a bigger resolution.

Yes, the secondary monitor is 4K and the primary monitor is FHD.
