In book view, I find myself using ctrl+up/down arrows to pan through the text - without changing the cursor position.
That same functionality would be useful in the Bible view. I've caught myself trying to do that and been disappointed that it behaves the same way as up/down arrows on their own - going to prev/next verse.
Since adding ctrl to up/down arrows does the same thing as without ctrl, it seems to me that ctrl+up/down arrow is redundant and could be reassigned.
Thanks for consideration of this request.

There is an option under "Bible view options > General behavior" to set the mouse wheel to move to previous and next verse instead of scrolling the verse. You may want to uncheck that?
