Consider this both a question and a feature request:
Is there any sort of API (application program interface) or command-line option syntax that will invoke theWord, and immediately jump to a specified verse passage such as Romans 10:9-13, or start with a particular layout, Dictionary, Commentary, Book, or other resource specified on the command-line?
A similar question posted viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7438 touches on starting theWord with a given layout scheme.
Could I enlarge the question to ask about starting particular verses, or invoking theWord from within another application, to display the text of a verse reference specified or highlighted in the other application? I'm referring here to the generic principle, not to any particular application that I am using currently. If there are any drawbacks or obstacles to including such a feature, what are they?
